Leo P. Caamano, PA attended Manhattan College where he obtained his undergraduate degree in Allied Health then moving on to becoming a Physician Assistant completing his studies at Bronx Lebanon Hospital Center. He is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) and has participated in the American Academy of Physician Assistant’s Committee on Diversity and the Student Academy of the American Academy of Physician Assistants as Director of Diversity.
Coming from Latino heritage, Leo has worked in community health for the past 10 years caring for the underserved. His previous experience comes from a Family Medicine oriented practice where he provided care in Pediatrics, Primary Care and Emergency Medicine. Leo believes quality healthcare should be available to everyone and that preventative medicine along with patient education are just as important as the treatment prescribed.
